Tamouh marks a decade of success at Cityscape
ABU DHABI, April 13, 2016
Tamouh, the master developer of the Reem Island off the coast of the UAE capital, marked its 10th anniversary at Cityscape Abu Dhabi showcasing its latest projects for the emirates and said it looked forward to its next decade of achievement.
A real estate company behind major developments including Marina Square, City of Lights, and more recently Horizon Towers and Paragon Bay, Tamouh said during the last decade, it has shown resilience to variable market conditions and has steadily expanded its investments in Abu Dhabi, bringing a total of 11,000 residential units, 210,000 sq m of office space, and 30,000 sq m of retail space to the emirate’s real estate market.
"Since the launch of Tamouh in 2005, we have developed a strategy that keeps progressing with respect to the maturing needs of our residents, to innovative designs, and to changing environmental conditions; thus reinforcing our contribution to Abu Dhabi’s future as a modern, sustainable city," remarked its chairman Nader Al Hammadi.
"Having delivered the first gated community in Abu Dhabi in 2010, we have set the standards of contemporary living and we are committed to creating long-term projects that stand out in the UAE," stated Al Hammadi.
"We could not have achieved those milestones without the support and guidance of Abu Dhabi’s leaders and policy makers, and today I would like to express our sincere gratitude to them, and thank them for trusting our vision," he added.
At the Cityscape Abu Dhabi, Tamouh is showcasing its latest projects including the commercial and residential Horizon Towers project, which comprises more than 900 units.
The work is progressing well on the Horizon Towers, a part of the first phase of the 144-acre mixed-use development City of Lights, which is today more than 50 per cent completed, said Al Hammadi.
Joe Ong, the managing director, said: "The past 10 years have held many challenges but despite these, we have proven our resilience, managed to derive valuable lessons, and stayed focused on our goals."
"We remained steadfast in our commitment, and relied on the support of the Abu Dhabi government, leadership and authorities, but most importantly, on the hard work of each and every one of our dedicated employees," observed Ong.
"We look forward to our future endeavours as we strive towards achieving our vision and getting better every year. We will continue creating communities that lie at the heart of Abu Dhabi – such as Marina Square – a bustling neighbourhood that embodies the Tamouh culture," he added.
To mark the 10 years of success, Tamouh revealed its new identity on the opening day of the Cityscape Abu Dhabi, which was designed to symbolise both its strength and ability to build communities that embody both leisure and comfort, which earned Reem Island its reputation as the Property Finder’s Number One searched for location in Abu Dhabi for the second year in a row.
Among its other projects, Tamouh has created the Middle East’s first man-made white water rafting, kayaking and surfing facility, Wadi Adventure, and is currently working on a 3,000-unit Emirati Housing Development in Jebel Hafeet.-TradeArabia News Service
