Galfar wins Oman water network maintenance deal

Galfar Engineering and Contracting said it has won RO22-million ($73 million) contracts from Oman's utility company for operation and maintenance (O&M) of its water network systems across the sultanate, said a report.
In all, four contracts were awarded by Oman's Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW), mainly related to the operation and maintenance of its water production and distribution assets, according to the Oman Observer.
The contract covers water networks, water wells and pumping stations in Seeb, as well as the governorates of Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, and Muscat, it added.
