Hill to project manage $900m Morocco project

RABAT, March 24, 2016

Leading global project management firm Hill International has landed a contract to oversee the first phase of a $900-million mixed-use development in Rabat, Morocco.

The 'Wessal Bouregreg' development will feature a 4,200-unit residential facility, a 5,000-sq-m shopping mall besides 104,600 sq m of commercial office space, public parks, plazas and a waterfront promenade.

The contract was awarded to the Hill International by an affiliate of Wessal Capital,  a joint venture firm set up by Morocco with the Gulf states.  

"The Wessal Bouregreg development will provide important residential, commercial and cultural amenities to Rabat," said Waleed Abdel Fattah, the senior vice president and managing director (Africa) for Hill's Project Management Group.

Hill International, with 4,700 professionals in 100 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management, construction claims and other consulting services primarily to the buildings, transportation, environmental, energy and industrial markets.
