Henkel Polybit Industries (HPIL), a leading manufacturer of waterproofing and construction chemical products in the Gulf region, launched an update of its innovative concept ‘The Watertite system,’ at the recent Big 5 show in Dubai.

The product has been derived from HPIL’s vast knowledge and experience in the region with production and development of bituminous waterproofing membranes and coatings, according to a company spokesman.

“The Watertite system is a concept which provides a different dimension to the world of waterproofing. Each system designed under this concept has its specific benefits thus ensuring the safest and most efficient waterproofing solution,” he said.

Henkel Polybit used The Big 5 platform to emphasise its ongoing efforts to expand its retail operations.

"This launch spelt good news for smaller contractors, applicators and even individual house owners who are interested in DIY renovations and waterproofing. A wide range of HPIL products are now available on retail shelves making it easier to access and use the products on a smaller scale," he stated.

According to him, the technical services team will be available at all times for providing support on the proper application of the products.

The company has also launched Polyscreed, a polyurethane cement-based heavy duty, durable flooring system, which is resistant to low and high temperatures.

On the Big 5 reponse, the company spokesman said the HPIL stall saw throngs of visitors throughout the exhibition including both new and existing clientele of building contractors, consultants, architects, applicators and traders from across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey.
