Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC), the entity responsible for developing quality infrastructure and raising awareness on quality standards in the emirate, has launched the third phase of its awareness drive on the Manaa consumer safety system.
Running till November 26, the campaign includes a variety of promotional activities on radio, print and online media as well as at major shopping malls in Abu Dhabi emirate.
The key highlight of phase III is a public competition which aims to promote the Manaa product recall and incident reporting system and encourage participants to share consumer safety messages and tips with their friends and families. As part of the competition, one lucky participant will win home makeover from Manaa.
To enter the competition, participants are required to spread the message of consumer safety and help protect their family and friends through referring as many friends as possible on Manaa system.
The one who achieves the biggest number of referrals will be announced following the completion of the competition.
Mohamed Helal Al Balooshi, the marketing and communications acting director at QCC, said it was pleased to present the third phase of Manaa awareness campaign which has witnessed huge success in its previous phases.
"The campaign has achieved many of its objectives and helped us spread awareness about consumer safety as well as the objectives and benefits of using Manaa system," he stated.
