Monorail plan back on track in Bahrain

Commuters could soon ride high above the traffic as a monorail planned for Bahrain gets back on track after a long hiatus. First proposed almost a decade ago and approved by the Cabinet back in 2008, plans for a countrywide monorail network had to be put on hold shortly afterwards due to the global financial crisis, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
