As part of DC Pro’s five-year growth strategy to leverage mega regional construction projects including Expo 2020 Dubai and the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Qatar, Fouad Younan - an experienced senior executive in the district cooling and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) industry - has been appointed as the company’s new managing director with immediate effect.

Younan’s experience and expertise in the district cooling industry includes spells as the chief executive officer of Qatar Cool and general manager of Emicool.

The Lebanese national also helped establish and develop City Cool with the Al Rajhi Group for the UAE, Saudi Arabian and Bahraini markets.

“With an impeccable delivery and innovation record, DC Pro Engineering is rightfully considered one of the region’s leading electromechanical consultants,” said Younan.

“With the GCC hosting mega events such as Dubai’s World Expo in 2020 and Qatar’s Fifa World Cup in 2022, the company has great potential for continuous growth and employs a diverse cross-section of talent committed to providing high quality standards of service.

“The DC Pro Engineering vision aims to create extremely satisfied customers who, in turn, act as ambassadors for establishing the company’s reputation for pioneering technical expertise in neighboring markets. I look forward to steering the company to even greater heights,” he added.

DC Pro’s key projects include Jeddah’s Kingdom Tower, envisioned to be the world’s tallest building, and the new King Abdul-Aziz International Airport, as well as Riyadh’s Al Bustan II Development.

“These projects bear witness to the profound trust and confidence regional clients have in DC Pro Engineering’s capacity to deliver on-time and on-budget,” Younan added. - TradeArabia News Service
