Qatar Primary Materials Company (QPMC), a top supplier of building materials to the local market, has scored a new record for unloading gabbro rocks, which it imports for Qatari state projects.

The company’s logistics and supply chain division unloaded 78 barges, which is the equivalent of 4.6 million tonnes of gabbro stones, in the first half of 2015.

Since 2009, the logistics and supply chain division has experienced growth of more than 100 per cent annually by providing logistical services and transportation, including bulk transport, handling and storage as well as integrated supply chain management. – TradeArabia News Service
