Nshama, a private developer of integrated lifestyle communities for aspiring home-owners, has signed a partnership deal with UNEC, a regional construction company, to build the first two apartment blocks at Town Square, Dubai’s first-of-its-kind smartly designed, stylish, green neighbourhood.

The agreement marks the first stage of construction, ahead of schedule, of the Zahra Apartments and Safi Apartments within Town Square, which have gained strong investor response, said a statement from the company.

Town Square is a vibrant development anchored by a central square, the size of 16 football fields, and featuring a range of lifestyle choices including Vida Town Square Dubai Hotel and a Reel Cinemas cineplex and open-air cinema.

In addition to a 2.5 million-sq-ft retail precinct featuring over 600 stores and food and beverages (F&B) outlets, Town Square also features day-care facilities, playgrounds, play zones for all ages, swimming pools, fitness centre, athletic spa, interactive water features, skate parks, playgrounds, adventure zones, modern medical facilities and splash parks.

CEO Fred Durie said the start of construction of the first two apartment buildings was a milestone for the Town Square project.

"The building work is ahead of schedule and UNEC is fully set on course to deliver quality homes that fulfill the expectations of our residents. Zahra Apartments and Safi Apartments will boast exemplary contemporary designs and excellent build quality," he noted.

Town Square is located in New Dubai near Al Barsha, in close proximity to Arabian Ranches Golf Course, Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club and Al Maktoum International Airport, near the site for the World Expo 2020.

The development will feature over 3,000 townhouses and over 18,000 apartments as well as substantial retail, hospitality and commercial space. Town Square has a high land-to-building ratio, with more open spaces for a greener community.-TradeArabia News Service
