Yardi deploys key FM solution at UAE mall
ABU DHABI, June 20, 2015
Yardi, a leading designer and developer of software for property and real estate investment management, has won a deal to deploy its facilities management platform Voyager 7S at Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The company was awarded the contract by Developers, a property development firm owned by a consortium of Abu Dhabi's leading business houses.
Yardi said it will also implement the Commercial LeasingPad, a fully mobile solution that provides contact and prospect management with portfolio health analytics and business intelligence at the shopping facility.
On the win, Neal Gemassmer, the vice president international at Yardi, said: "In the last three years, we have invested heavily to support the specific requirements of the region, including resources as well as product development."
"We are fully focused on the specific needs of the real estate industry and the specialist needs of managing the variety of asset classes including retail," he noted.
Retail owners, he stated, will use property management platform to streamline and enhance operations, he added.
Located in the heart of Mussafah, the Dalma Mall boasts a total gross leasable area of 150,000 sq m, including more than 400 stores, car parking spaces in excess of 6,500, a 14-screen cinema, game zone, food court, and a number of restaurants and cafés including a number of well-established international fashion brands.
Bhupinder Singh, the general manager and CFO at Dalma Mall, said: "We decided to embark on a thorough process to select a new platform to help us enhance the management of our retail operation at the Dalma Mall."
