Saraya Bandar Jissah has awarded a contract to Ghantoot Transporting & General Contracting Establishment (GTGC) for the construction of a majlis in the village of Qantab in northeastern Oman, a report said.

A subsidiary of UAE-based Saraya Holding, Saraya Bandar Jissah has commissioned this project as part of its array of community-based initiatives in the country, reported Muscat Daily.

The majlis, which is set to become a central community venue for events and gatherings for members of the Qantab village, will feature state-of-the-art amenties, stated the report, citing Hamood Al Hosni, the CEO of Saraya Bandar, the company that is developing Oman's newest integrated tourism complex.

"We are confident that GTGC will bring our vision for the community to life and look forward to handing over the majlis on its completion,” he added.
