Airlist gets solid response from UAE real estate agents

DUBAI, March 2, 2015

More than 600 real estate agents have signed up to Airlist, the new property technology company launched last month.

Airlist, developed in the UAE by the team behind Masterkey, provides all registered agents the ability to manage their properties in one space, drastically reducing the time it takes to post listings across dozens of property portals.

In less than three weeks since its launch, more than 5,000 properties have been listed by users of the site, with hundreds being added each day.

The online property portals have also thrown their significant support behind the innovative new tool, endorsing Airlist’s ability to rapidly distribute listings, increase website traffic and help manage agents’ expansive portfolio of properties available for sale and lease.

Haider Ali Khan, the chief executive of Bayut.com, said: "The introduction of Airlist here in the UAE is a significant step forward for the real estate industry to embrace new technology and adapt to new ways of selling and leasing properties."

“I have been impressed with the responsiveness of the platform; the fact agents can use it easily, for free and on their phones will help them considerably.  The team at Bayut.com is looking forward to further collaborations with Airlist and seeing the development of this tool as it gains traction among the real estate sector here,” added Khan.

Daniel Hart, CEO of Airlist, said his main driving force in creating the new tool was to empower the thousands of agents in the UAE who are not currently using any real estate software and need a free listings tool.

"Airlist is changing the way the companies lease and sell properties in the UAE," he stated.

“Our initial launch forecasts for registrations have been smashed with the sheer number of agents registering and engaging this service,” he noted.

“There are no fees or charges to use the service and we are committed to being free for agents to use with no bias towards any property portal in the region. Our one-to-one meetings with the many property portals in the UAE have gone incredibly well and we are welcoming their endorsements with open arms,” added Hart.-TradeArabia News Service
