CDE Global boosts Middle East-Africa team

DUBAI, January 29, 2015

Materials washing specialists CDE Global has expanded its team of personnel responsible for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, which the company said will allow for greater regional focus within the area.

The new appointments include the business development manager for the Gulf region Ruchin Garg, who will be responsible for building the CDE project portfolio in the sand and aggregates market.

“The plants that we have already installed throughout the region are delivering significant efficiencies for our customers by maximising material recovery, minimising waste volumes and allowing for the production of washed sand and aggregates which command the highest commercial value” stated Garg.

According to CDE, the water recycling technologies it offers are a critical factor in the placing of new sand and aggregate washing plants in the region.

“Our AquaCycle thickener recycles 90 per cent of the water used in the washing plant which makes washing viable for a lot of people for whom water supply is an issue,” explained Garg.

“Our combo unit combines the EvoWash sand washing plant and AquaCycle system to deliver a washing plant that can operate with a supply of only 20 cu m per hour,” he added.

In North Africa, the materials washing specialists has named Aymen Bennour as the business development manager.

“Across the region there are opportunities for us to work with sand and aggregate producers to enhance the efficiency of the operations, reduce costs and improve the quality of the final washed products,” stated Bennour.

Des Crawford represents CDE in Southern Africa where a number of new partnerships were established recently.

Crawford has more than 30 years of experience in the global construction materials and mining industry and is responsible for building the CDE project portfolio across the construction materials and mining divisions, said the company in its statement.

“There are some exciting opportunities in the mining sector that we are currently exploring. Our mining processing systems are designed to allow mine operators to maximise yield and help in the journey towards zero tailings,” said Crawford.

Commenting on the move, Enda Ivanoff, the sales director at CDE Global said: “There is huge potential for our equipment throughout the Middle East and Africa, and our new team structure will allow us to meet the diverse demands throughout the region by providing in market representation from a highly qualified technical sales team.”-TradeArabia News Service
