Work on 97 luxury villas at a premier golf estate in Dubai, UAE, is well on track with the first residences to be handed over to its owners by the second quarter of 2015.

The villas at the award-winning Sanctuary Falls project at Jumeirah Golf Estates have all but sold out with just three residences remaining on the market.

The villas are being built by Arabtec’s luxury villa division “who are advancing according to the construction programme”, said a statement from its developer Shaikh Holdings, a Dubai-based real estate investment company.

The villas overlook the lush golf vistas and lakes at Jumeirah Golf Estate’s Earth golf course, where the DP World Tour Championship, the climax of the annual European Tour Race to Dubai, is organised.

Held last month, the tournament saw over 55,000 spectators getting an up close and personal view of defending champion Henrik Stenson retaining the title.

Residents of Sanctuary Falls will also have access to a new clubhouse at the golfing community, which was opened ahead of the tournament, said the developer in the statement.

The prestigious clubhouse’s amenities including swimming pools, gym facilities, a golf pro shop and several dining venues.

The opening of the clubhouse marks an important milestone for the community, adding significant value to the Sanctuary Falls proposition, which includes access to two championship golf courses, a tennis academy, and the region’s first professional European Tour Performance Institute (ETPI) for golf instruction.
