Soma's beach project wins top Lebanese award
BEIRUT, November 25, 2014
International architecture firm Soma said its luxurious seaside development Amchit Bay Beach Residences has won top honours at the 2014 Real Estate Awards Lebanon awards.
These awards recognise the most outstanding development projects in Lebanon, focusing on categories such as design and architecture, landscape design, eco-friendly and sustainable projects and specialised developments.
A jury comprising 13 Lebanese and foreign experts evaluated the projects and picked the winners.
The winners, spanning 12 categories, were announced at a luncheon at the Casino du Liban that marked a visit by International Real Estate Federation President Flavio Gonzaga to the country.
New York-based Soma said the project designed by its founder Michel Abboud clinched the Finest Specialised Project 2014 award at the 2014 Real Estate Awards Lebanon.
"I am honored that the Amchit Bay Beach Residences has won this award," said an elated Abboud.
"We wanted to design a place for people to escape the bustle of the city and enjoy the abundant beauty of the ocean and I'm thrilled that our vision resonated with the Real Estate Syndicate of Lebanon," he added.
Amchit Bay consists of six villas and 19 residences, offering residents luxurious seaside living with direct beach access and unparalleled views of the Mediterranean.
A 30 minute drive from Beirut and its roughly 1.9 million residents, Amchit Bay Beach Residences is perfect for either a weekend getaway or year-round resort style living.
The development sits on more than 250 ft of uninterrupted coastline, with a total of over 21,500 sq m of landscaped green common space. Other amenities include a fitness area, 24-hour security surveillance, pool, clubhouse and children's playground.-TradeArabia News Service
