Qatar property firm vies for global honours
DOHA, November 11, 2014
Qatar-based MD Properties said it is one of the finalists for the Arabian Property Awards which recognises excellence for professional practices in the real estate sector.
The Arabian Property Awards 2014-2015 is part of the International Property Awards that are split into regions covering Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia, Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, UK, and US.
The winners of the Arab region, who will be announced in Dubai, UAE, on December 4, will then advance to the final where they will battle with other regional qualifiers for the top spot in each category.
These finalists will be judged in three categories by a panel comprising over 70 experts from around the world including members of Britain’s House of Lords: Lord Caithness (development), Lord Best (real estate), and Lord Courtown (architecture and interior design).
MD Properties competed against the Qatar’s premier real estate agents and property consultants to achieve this recognition, said a senior official.
“Our company was assessed against very stringent standards that covered our business record and achievements, innovation in presenting and marketing our clients’ assets as well as client engagement and satisfaction,” remarked Martin Laurent, the acting chief executive.
"We have always been strong believers in the potential of Qatar’s property market and the ambitious plans that have been drawn up by the nation’s leaders," stated Laurent.
"We have attempted to match this by offering very high operational standards to support the demand for residential, commercial, and industrial property facilities. Qualifying for such a reputable award clearly shows we have been successful in doing so," he added.
According to Laurent, the winners’ logo is recognised as a symbol of excellence throughout the global industry.
Attaining one is indisputable evidence that the holder is capable of outperforming some exceedingly strong contenders within the highly competitive Arabian property market, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
