Hill International, a leader in managing construction risk, has won a contract from Ithmar Development to provide project management services in connection with the Bahrain Affordable Housing Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project.

The three-year contract has an estimated value to Hill of approximately $4.3 million, said a statement.

The $450-million Bahrain Affordable Housing PPP project brings together public and private entities to deliver social and affordable housing solutions to Bahrain's growing population, it said.

The project entails 2,800 social and affordable housing units in Al Madina Al Shamaliya (North Town) and Al Luwzi.

It is the largest housing project ever to be developed in Bahrain in partnership with the private sector and is expected to set a new benchmark for housing projects across the Middle East region.
