City Centre Muscat, Majid Al Futtaim’s leading shopping and lifestyle destination in the sultanate, said it will have 30 per cent more car parking space at its facility starting from tomorrow (October 3).

The new car park deck can accommodate 700 additional cars for a total of 2,850 car park spaces now available across the mall, said a statement from MAF.

With three levels of parking, including direct access to the mall on the first and second floors, City Centre Muscat is ensuring that customer convenience remains a priority, it added.  

“City Centre Muscat has been going through a major evolution to meet the growing needs of our customers,” remarked Husam Al Mandhari, the senior mall manager for City Centre Muscat.

City Centre Muscat’s new car park deck is located on the north side of the mall, and was completed in just seven months. More than 600 workers were dedicated to this project alone, and construction was in adherence to the highest of standards, resulting in zero accidents, explained Al Mandhari.

"With the second phase of our redevelopment currently under way, the new car park was accelerated to meet the anticipated increases in traffic. Visitors will soon discover the convenience of being able to park with ease, enhancing the overall shopping experience," he added.

City Centre Muscat had recently announced the second phase of its ambitious redevelopment, an RO27 million ($70 million) investment which will introduce more than 60 exciting new shopping options, spread across 10,000 sq m of additional retail space.
