Brooks Forgings plans Gulf expansion

Dubai, August 21, 2014

UK-based Brooks Forgings, a leading manufacturer of forged and machined components for the construction sector, has announced plans to expand into the Gulf.

The company has made metal forgings, fabrications and machined components for major construction and civil engineering projects including the Olympic Velodrome, said a statement.

Steve Parker, who is assisting the firm in the region, said: “Brooks is one of the hidden gems of UK manufacturing. Their exceptional expertise and ability to make fabrications combining several processes, all in-house, means that they can be very competitive both on time and cost and can guarantee international standards. We are looking forward to the challenges and solving new problems for clients throughout the Gulf.”

Richard Lee, marketing manager, said: “We are currently forging components between 10mm and 100mm diameter. As far as I know we are the only UK forge manufacturing hammerhead bolts up to M100 and 6 metres in length.”

The company is seeking partners in the region. - TradeArabia News Service
