KMC appoints new Bahrain operations director

Kuwait-based property developer KMC has appointed Hasan Adel Abu Hassan as new operations director for Bahrain.
Abu Hassan will be responsible for the execution and delivery of existing and upcoming projects and will be focusing on the ongoing growth and expansion of KMC, sad a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
He has more than 32 years of experience in engineering management across public and private sectors, focusing on capital projects and the real estate sector.
“Hasan comes with a strong understanding of the business and I'm sure his experience will be invaluable in helping us deliver best in class services to our increasing clientele in the region,” KMC Group deputy general manager for Bahrain Fadi Al Shaikh said.
“We are set to increase Bahrainisation in line with our expansion.”
Abu Hassan's appointment comes close on the heels of KMC winning a SR168 million ($44.7 million) contract for the operation, maintenance and complete testing of the King Fahad Causeway.
The contract comprises operation, maintenance and full testing of the causeway, and facilities on the island.
The causeway runs over 26km between the toll gates of Saudi Arabian and Bahraini sides. - TradeArabia News Service
