Danube enters real estate sector with $136m project

Danube Group, a Dubai-based conglomerate, has entered the real estate sector with the launch of Danube Properties, its wholly-owned subsidiary.
 
The company launched the new venture, declaring Indian cricketer and interim BCCI president Sunil Gavaskar as its brand ambassador in a press conference at the Grand Hyatt recently.
 
It also unveiled its first residential project ‘Dreamz by Danube’ worth Dh500 million ($136 million), which will feature 175 touwnhouses at Al Furjan.
 
The three- and four-bedroom townhouses will have a built-up area between 2,500 and 3,000 sq ft, and will come with a garden and water features. The construction of the project will start soon, with the delivery scheduled for 2016.
 
The prices of the modern luxury villas with contemporary design and latest finishing will start at Dh2.5 million, said a statement.
 
Rizwan Sajan, founder and chairman of Danube Group, said: “The launch of Danube Properties comes following a careful study of the needs of the UAE’s property market where the combination of quality, affordability, developer’s commitment and timely delivery is a rarity.” 
 
The launch of Danube Properties will help Danube Building Materials to leverage its strength as the UAE’s largest building materials supplier, with more than 25,000 different types of building materials and interior products under one roof. - TradeArabia News Service
