Lootah upgrades residential community in Dubai

Lootah Real Estate Development, a leading property developer in the UAE, has completed modernisation works of its Ewan Residences community located at Dubai Investment Park.
The announcement was made during its Annual Homeowners Meeting held at hotel Courtyard Marriott, Dubai. The meeting was attended by Ewan investors and top executives from the developer. The Facility Management arm of the company presented development works that were successfully carried out in 2013 and presented plan for 2014.
The Community Quality Enhancement Programme was introduced and implemented last year with a range of additional facilities at Ewan Residences. The meeting listed concerns and new demands of the homeowners. The developer committed that all of them would be addressed during the span of current year.
Saleh Abdullah Lootah, executive director of Lootah Real Estate Development, said: “We are fully aware of the growing needs of our residents. Our focus remains the improvement of their lives and well-being. The innovative Community Quality Enhancement Programme and homeowners gathering are manifestations of our unique community concept that we created at Ewan Residences at Dubai Investment Park and Shamal Community in Jumeirah Village Circle.”

The major upgrades implemented include new remote controlled barriers at all entrances, remote access cards for all residents, prior authorization of all private and public service vehicles, refurbishment of swimming pools for men and women, designated pool timings for families, solar powered street lights, reorganization of garbage areas to make them tidy, wall painting, new tennis court, new kids play area. An additional new pool is in the pipeline.
Residents’ concerns about non family residents, illegal car washing and abandoned cars were diligently addressed last year, a statement said.
Under the Community Quality Enhancement Programme, the company has planned building of additional facilities such as changing rooms at swimming pools, shaded pool areas, dedicated family BBQ area, new mosque, enhancement of landscaping, new jogging and cycling tracks. In addition to that, labour accommodation, road rules and community rules are being planned.
The current average rent range at Ewan Residences is Dh55,000 ($14,970) to 60,000 for one bedroom, Dh75,000 to 80,000 for two bedrooms, Dh95,000 to 105,000 for three bedrooms. – TradeArabia News Service
