Buro Happold, a global engineering consultancy, has announced the appointment of Oliver Plunkett as  the firm’s Middle East region managing director.

It also appointed Roger Nickells as the company's chief executive officer, effective June 25.

“Oliver has demonstrated over the past four years his passion for the Middle East region and his excellent leadership skills,” said Nickells. “Oliver has spearheaded major strategic change across our Saudi Arabia efforts and I look forward to seeing him translate his success into his new role. I will be working closely with Oliver and all our teams across the organisation to deliver our clear vision for the future.”

Since joining the company in 2010, Plunkett  has been leading the firm in Saudi Arabia and under his leadership has created a renaissance for Buro Happold across the kingdom which he will now scale up in his new role, working across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf nations. – TradeArabia News Service
