Berger makes colourful impact
Manama, May 6, 2014
Berger Paints Bahrain, a leading paint manufacturing company in the country, is showcasing a number of product lines and finishes within its architectural and décor designer finishes portfolio at gulfInteriors exhibition, which opened in Bahrain today.
The company manufactures a wide range of decorative, industrial and floor coatings that have evoked interest among consumers, particularly because of their environment-friendly properties, says Aseem Doshi, Berger Paints Bahrain’s general manager.
Berger Paints has been participating at gulfInteriors since 2012, says Raghupathi Ramiah, senior manager sales and marketing.
“We are delighted with the kind of response we have received during these exhibitions. The interest and enthusiasm shown by the public towards Berger’s décor range of products have been remarkable.
“Overall, the Berger Paints team has done exceedingly well at these events, which have increased awareness of the Berger brand,” he adds.
Berger Paints commenced its operations in Bahrain in the early 1980s. Since then, it has catered to the rising demand, especially from the buoyant retail, projects and protective coating segments of the local market.
All decorative products manufactured and supplied by Berger Paints are environment-friendly, and are free from lead and hard metals. Additionally, all decorative products come with a manufacturer’s lead-free guarantee, as indicated on all paint cans.
Berger Paints Bahrain is a part of the Berger International Group, which has one of the largest technology laboratories in the Asia-Pacific region involved in developing state-of-the-art products.
“The company prides itself in developing innovative coating solutions to meet customer needs,” says Doshi.
He says most of the projects for the Ministry of Housing are coated with Berger Paint finishes that meet the ministry’s stringent specifications.
And while Berger Paint’s most prestigious projects have been for the Ministry of Housing, the company is also providing its solvent-free coatings for the Electricity and Water Authority’s (EWA) water tanks.
Berger has also been associated with a number of prestigious projects in Bahrain, some of the recent ones being Amwaj Tower, Indian School in Riffa, New Millennium School, the sewage treatment plant in Muharraq, King Hamad Hospital and Lulu outlets at Ramli Mall and Hidd.
