Emaar Malls Group presented a Dh5 million ($1.4 million) cheque to Dubai Cares, its proceeds from the ‘Vogue Fashion Dubai Experience’ show.

The event, held in Dubai, was organised by Emaar Properties and Vogue Italia to raise funds for the charity founded to promote education among underprivilged communities globally.

The funds were raised through the charity auction and from part of the proceeds from sale of merchandise during the event.

Over 400,000 visitors from around the world visited the 250 fashion brands showcased at the Dubai Mall. - TradeArabia News Service
