Hill wins key Doha tower project

Doha, December 5, 2013

Hill International, a global leader in managing construction risk, said it has won a QR35 million ($9.6 million) contract from a Qatari group to manage the construction of two mixed-use towers in Doha's Lusail District.
 
Under the 30-month contract awarded by Real Estate Services Group (RESG), Hill will provide project management services in connection with the design and construction of the tower projects.

The QR1 billion development includes a 35-storey tower that will include a five-star hotel, restaurants, villas and apartments and a 27-storey tower that will feature offices, retail and other commercial uses, said a statement from the company.

Commenting on the win, Mohammed Al Rais, the senior VP and managing director (Middle East) for Hill's Project Management Group said "We are honored to once again be working with RESG. We are confident that our team will help to successfully deliver both of these impressive tower projects."

Hill International, with 4,000 employees in 100 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management, construction claims and other consulting services primarily to the buildings, transportation, environmental, energy and industrial markets.

Engineering News-Record magazine recently ranked Hill as the 9th largest construction management firm in the United States.-TradeArabia News Service
