Tri-Tech unit wins Sipco wastewater contract

Tri-Tech Holding, a provider of turn-key water resources management, water and wastewater treatment, industrial safety and pollution control solutions, said its US subsidiary has won a contract to build a system for a waste water treatment plant in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipco) awarded the basic engineering contract valued at approximately $545,000 to build a zero liquid discharge system for the plant with a contingent contract on detailed engineering likely upon completion.

Tri-Tech's CFO Phil Fan said: “Securing this contract is a testament to our experience designing zero liquid discharge systems using mechanical vapour compression technology. Securing this contract demonstrates a positive step in realigning the company's business focus.”
