New residential complex to come up in Fujairah

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, laid the foundation stone for the Khalifa Residential Complex Project for citizens in Fujairah, yesterday (December 6).
The event took place in the presence of HH Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah and HH General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, a Wam report said.
The Dh360 million ($98.03 million) project is being implemented by the Ministry of Works for the Zayed Housing Programme in cooperation with Fujairah Municipality.
The project, at Al Nahdah district in Dibba Fujairah, includes 400 multifaceted residential units.
The execution will be commenced within days and the project be completed in 16 months, the Minister said.
"It is a genuine translation of the directives by the UAE President, especially in such national occasions in which Sheikh Khalifa is keen to make citizens happy and meet their decent living requirements to achieve the family and psychological stability," Sheikh Rashid said.
