Riyadh, October 13, 2011
More than 700 exhibitors from 34 countries will take part in Saudi Build 2011, a leading construction trade event in the Middle East, when it opens on October 16 in Riyadh.
The trade fair, which will run until October 19, will also feature 14 national pavilions at the new Riyadh International Exhibition Centre.
Saudi Build 2011, the 23rd international construction technology and building materials exhibition, will run concurrently with Saudi Stone-Tech – the 14th international stone and stone technology show. The exhibition will also concurrently host the Saudi Arabia Conference on Sustainable Building Materials on October 17.
Saudi Build 2011 will provide a dedicated platform to showcase the latest offerings in building materials and equipment, architectural finishing products, stone, marble and granite products, construction tools and technology, engineering services, infrastructure materials, security and safety systems, among others.
Saudi Stone-Tech will cater to evolving requirements and changing trends in stone technology products, machinery and services.
“Key players in the global construction industry are closely monitoring the GCC, particularly the Saudi construction market in light of the boom in infrastructure development across the country,” said Mohammad Al Hussaini, deputy general manager, Riyadh Exhibitions Company.
“Saudi certainly offers lucrative business opportunities for contractors and international suppliers, who are now eager to gain market exposure through Saudi Build 2011 and Saudi Stone-Tech 2011.”
“The upcoming exhibitions will therefore feature a comprehensive showcase that will provide contractors, real estate developers and building owners with a full range of building solutions from renowned international brands and suppliers. With the unprecedented global interest it has generated, Saudi Build 2011 is certainly proving to be the largest business-to-business construction event in the Kingdom,” he added.
Saudi Build 2011 expects thousands of industry-related visitors, including high-profile business leaders from the Kingdom and around the world, diplomats and high-ranking Saudi Government officials.
The event will also gather hundreds of exhibiting companies from Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, collectively offering a comprehensive set of the latest construction products and services.
Saudi Stone-Tech 2011, which is held in collaboration with VeronaFiere (Verona Trade Fair Company), Italy’s top trade show organizer, and the Italian MARMOMACCHINE Association, a technical and promotional organization for Italy’s stone and allied industries, will feature designers and landscapers showcasing cutting-edge stone products, including marble, granite, travertine and stone derivatives, as well as cutting, polishing and manufacturing machinery. – TradeArabia News Service
