Bahrain plans new leisure park

A new garden in Bahrain will be turned into an education and entertainment venue at a cost of BD100,000 ($265,000), said a top official.
The Hassan bin Thabit garden in Muharraq is expected to be Bahrain's first entertainment park, said Ahmed Shabib of Muharraq Municipality, who spearheads the project.
The 4,000 sq m park is situated in the heart of Muharraq close to the Central Market and Ramez supermarket.
Shabib said the designers planned to utilise the facility of the schools to their advantage.
