Parsons Brinckerhoff, the leading engineering, planning, design, construction management consultant, has appointed Jeff Larkin as market sector director, Power & Water, for the Mena region.

Larkin was previously country manager, Iraq, where he spent seven years overseeing Parsons Brinckerhoff’s critical role in helping to rebuild and expand power supplies for the people of Iraq.

In his new role he will focus on growing Parsons Brinckerhoff’s energy-related work across the Middle East and Northern Africa regions, including ongoing activities in Iraq.

“We welcome Jeff’s appointment at a time of opportunity in the Middle East and Northern Africa as over 40 GW of new generation capacity is scheduled to be built during the next ten years, with a corresponding demand for fresh water through desalination plants,” said Slav Marjanovic, Parsons Brinkerhoff’s operations director - Mena.
