Bahrain awards $7.87m sewage project

The Bahrain works ministry said Bahrain Pipeline Constructions Company has won the contract worth BD2.97 million ($7.87 million) for the Tubli sewage project.

The project, now in its second phase, involves mechanical and electronic works and is due to be completed in March 2013, according to a senior ministry official. 

The work on Block 711 in Tubli area, includes construction of a main pumping station, rainwater pipe connections and sewage pipes, in addition to an inspection chamber,’ said assistant undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering Khalifa Ebrahim Al Mansoor.-TradeArabia News Service
