Orascom launches new housing community
Cairo, October 21, 2010
Orascom Housing Communities (OHC), a leader in high-quality affordable housing units, has launched its new affordable housing project, Qena Gardens.
The development is located 5 km from Qena Governorates’ city center, will span across an area of 2.8 million sq m.
The project is expected to replicate OHC’s flagship project, Haram City, offering a fully integrated township where residents have access to a full range of services, from schools and clinics to shops and entertainment, a statement said.
“We are constantly looking to address the real underlining need for housing that the market is unable to meet,” said Omar Elhitamy, managing director of OHC.
“The gap between supply and demand in housing is not limited to Cairo, but in fact it is an issue that affects Egyptians all over the country. Through Qena Gardens OHC seeks to go one step further in addressing the housing problem,” he added.
Qena Gardens, offers a range of different residential unit sizes with customers being able to choose from apartments with two, three, or four bedrooms that are either fully or semi-finished. All units include a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen in addition to the bedrooms. Ground floor units will have access to the garden and those on the second floor will provide roof access. – TradeArabia News Service
