Saudi Arabia awards $667m road contracts

Saudi Arabia awarded road contracts worth SR2.5 billion ($666.7 million) for improving and building new roads in various parts of the kingdom, the state news agency said on Tuesday.

All the contracts were awarded to Saudi firms.

Saudi Arabia is spending $400 bilion as part of its plans to diversify its economy, upgrade its infrastructure and create jobs for its growing population of 18 million natives.-Reuters
