Dohaland, a subsidiary of Qatar Foundation, will be the official sponsor of an upcoming major real estate and investment exhibition in Doha for the second year in running.

The fifth Qatar International Real Estate and Investment Exhibition (Q-REX 2010) will be held at the Doha Exhibition Centre from March 3 to March 6.

The exhibition is expected to be the largest Q-REX yet, drawing more than the 100 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors who participated in last year’s event.

“Dohaland is pleased to support Q-REX again this year, as it helps us communicate our fundamental message of the need for a cultural and environmentally conscious approach to development,” said Jawaher Al Khuzaei, assistant manager of public relations, Dohaland, which aims to inspire property development in Qatar.

“We would like to focus on issues like sustainability and the environment - the need for more green developments to be built all over the region,” he added.

“At Dohaland, we have developed a new architectural language which will redefine regional trends in construction and design.
