Dewan Architects wins major tower contract

Dewan Architects & Engineers, which recently celebrated its 25th silver jubilee anniversary, has won a contract to design and supervise the construction of a 28-floor commercial tower on Dammam Al Khobar road in Saudi Arabia.

The firm was appointed by the Abdullah Al Reziza Group of Companies to undertake the design and supervision works.

The tower is expected to be designed with a view on ensuring high aesthetics and innovative use of building technologies and sustainability that will reflect Dewan's commitment to contribute to the modern architectural landscape in Saudi Arabia.

The building, which will be situated on a prime plot of land that is 2,030 sq m in size and will consist of 28 floors of prime office, retail outlets on the ground and mezzanine floors, and parking on two basement and four upper mezzanine podium floors.

'Architectural design plays an important role in the development and growth process witnessed in Saudi Arabia,' said Dewan Architects & Engineers chairman and managing director Mohamed Al Assam.

'As such, we develop our designs using a human approach that combines innovative aesthetics and sustainability concepts to meet the project's architectural design requirements,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
