Dubai, December 17, 2009
Dubai Properties Group (DPG), a member of Dubai Holding, said it has leased over 50 per cent of apartments at its new community Al Khail Gate to both corporate and residential customers looking for affordable mid-range housing requirements in Dubai.
With reasonable prices and a prime location on Al Khail road, the Dh3 billion ($816 million) development is proving popular with customers throughout the emirates as demand is high to lease spacious apartments that offer good value for money, said a DPG statement.
The gated community is designed to accommodate both singles and families across the seven million square foot development, it added.
"With leasing prices starting as low as Dh33,000 per year, the Community offers a wide range of apartments and leasing options, including studios, one, two and three-bedroom apartments," said Khalid Al Malik, Group CEO, Dubai Properties Group.
"We are thrilled with the success of the Al Khail Gate community and pleased to be able to offer these spacious new apartment that provide a much needed option for affordability, quality and convenience in the Dubai real estate market."
"Al Khail Gate affirms our commitment to deliver a diverse real estate portfolio that offers something for everyone in every corner of Dubai," he added.
Al Malik said the apartments at Al Khail Gate range from 420 sq ft studios, 690 sq ft one-bedroom, 966 sq ft two-bedroom and 1,150 sq ft three-bedroom units and are "ideal for UAE residents currently making the long commute from other emirates."
Located in close proximity to Dubai’s arterial highways including Al Khail Road, the development is just minutes away from the Dubai business district, Old Town, and new Dubai, he explained.
In addition, further enhancements to the living experience at the community are underway as additional services and facilities are being planned, Al Malik added.
DPG is planning to build a dedicated gym, a swimming pool, kids play areas, sport facilities including multipurpose courts for basketball, volleyball and tennis, in addition to a cricket ground, and retail shops to further enrich the experience and better service the community.
