DPG names Tiger Woods Dubai project head

Dubai Properties Group, a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Mohammed Bin Essa as project director of The Tiger Woods Dubai, the 55 million sq ft private residential golf community.
Bin Essa brings a wealth of experience in strategic management and operations to the landmark development.
In his new position, Bin Essa will be responsible for strategic planning, business development and operations, while overseeing community design and construction. He will also manage all vital partnerships and investor relations for the pioneering golf community.
In addition to his new appointment, Bin Essa will continue as director of Operations for Dubailand, where he is responsible for operations, management and investor relations at the three billion sq ft development.
Prior to his appointment at Dubailand, Bin Essa was the general manager, Strategic Business Development and Risk Management, Majid Al Futtaim Properties.
Bin Essa also has an extensive background in finance through his involvement in Business Development at the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX).

The Tiger Woods Dubai is an exclusive golf community that will include Al Ruwaya, the first golf course design created by Tiger Woods Design; a professionally-staffed golf academy; a 145,000-sq ft clubhouse with premium amenities; 20 palaces; 75 mansions; 190 luxury villas; and applicable community services.
