Manama, September 16, 2009
Diyar Al Muharraq one of the largest developments financed by the private sector in Bahrain, has moved to its new headquarters in the western tower of the Bahrain World Trade Centre.
“Our move to one of the most prominent landmarks existing in the kingdom is something expected as Diyar Al Muharraq is anticipated to be one of Bahrain’s most important landmarks once completed,” said Aaref Hejres, CEO of Diyar Al Muharraq.
In addition, Aaref Hejres considers the Bahrain World Trade Centre, with its unique electricity-generating wind turbines and high environmental standards, the perfect match to Diyar Al Muharraq’s vision which focuses heavily on environmental preservation. Diyar Al Muharraq has allocated more than 3 million dinars to its environmental plan and a number of pioneering initiatives in the region.
Diyar Al Muharraq is a fully-contained masterplanned city featuring open public areas as well as over 40 kilometers of waterfront which feature sandy beaches that are among the largest publicly accessible beaches in Bahrain. The city also contains a wide range of public facilities and parklands, as well as hotels, a business district, and a large shopping mall all supported by cutting edge modern infrastructure.-TradeArabia News Service
