Coldwell opens Dubai Marina office

Dubai, July 20, 2009

Coldwell Banker UAE, a global real estate brand which has its headquarters in Downtown Burj Dubai, has opened a new office at the Dubai marina.

Mohammed Abdullah, chairman of Coldwell Banker Intercontinental Affiliates, said that this venture to expand was a step towards ensuring the brand’s presence in the market.

He acknowledged that even though the Dubai real estate industry is facing a slow down, Coldwell Banker UAE is preparing itself in anticipation for some market movement in 2010 and 2011.

“We do not deny that the property market has shifted from reeling in heavy returns to being barely responsive,” said Abdullah.

“However, we stand firm on the belief that we can offer undisputed guidance to those who may need professional real estate advice during high or, in these times of low market activity,” he added.

“Therefore we need to be where people can reach us and be ready when the market begins to restore itself.”

The Dubai operation has kept a close watch on the property market to observe any trends or industry shifts, in order to be able to respond quickly to the industry needs, Abdullah said.

After monitoring the office’s performance in accordance with the reality of the market situation, Abdullah said that Coldwell Banker UAE has had an overall acceptable performance so far in 2009. – TradeArabia News Service
