DCA director general, Sharjah Airport Authority, and senior executives from both parties took part.
Dr Hajri said the signing of the agreement with Etisalat Facilities Management - a subsidiary of Etisalat, comes as a result of the efforts that Sharjah International Airport is undertaking to provide the best services possible to the passengers and the companies working within the airport.
'Our aim is to conduct our business in a way that sustains the facilities of the airport in an excellent condition and enables all users to continuously utilise these facilities effectively,' he noted.
Dr Hajri said the continuous co-operation between the Sharjah Airport Authority and Etisalat is helping to deliver the latest technologies to raise the quality of services at the airport in the field of facilities management.
'We are confident that this partnership will lead to excellent results, which all stakeholders will benefit from and we would like to stress on our full assistance and cooperation to Etisalat Facilities Management in order to complete this project successfully.'
Expressing delight at the partnership with Sharjah Airport Authority, Al Sharid said the step follows the successful completion of an in-depth study into the requirements of the Airport which will help improve quality and efficiency.
