Scofield is set to introduce its Formula One lithium densifier and finish coat system, which can make ground and polished concrete floors low maintenance and environmentally friendly.

The Formula One line of liquid densifiers is designed to provide a wide range of solutions to the processed concrete market, commonly referred to as grind and polish.

Made of a high-quality lithium silicate formulation that is VOC-compliant and cost-effective, the densifiers prolong the nominal service life of concrete floors and reduce floor maintenance costs.

The system was engineered to deliver beautiful, durable ground and polished architectural concrete floors where deeper penetration, increased surface hardness and faster shine development are desired. It has many benefits such as increased abrasion resistance, high compressive strength, rapid shine development, and non-dusting.

It is said to produce a rapid chemical reaction which penetrates and densifies the upper layer of the concrete surface much quicker than sodium silicate or potassium silicate formulas.

It is a true architectural densfier which results in a beautiful and durable surface that is nontoxic and environmentally sound. Once treated the surface only requires periodic cleaning with a neutral or alkaline cleaner and water.
