Porta Reef, a three-tower project located on Reef Island in Bahrain, is ahead of schedule, company officials said.

Construction activities on the superstructure of all the towers have been completed.

Additionally, work on mock-up apartments have started at the site and will be ready for the public and apartment owners next month.

'We are proud to be the first project that will be completed on Reef Island,' said Porta Reef chairman Fawaz Ali Al Jowder.

'The speed of work reflects the level the efficiency and professionalism of everyone who is working on the project - in order to deliver on our promise and provide the best service to our investors and unit owners,' he said.

'We dedicated a full team of experts who were integral in successfully completing ahead of schedule 90 per cent of the structure work, while work on other elements are nearing completion,' said Al Kooheji Constructions chief executive officer Abdul Ghaffar Abdul Rahim Al Kooheji.

'The expertise and knowledge Al Kooheji enjoys are factors in a successful project - taking into consideration the high-quality work required and attention to detail. We can proudly say that Porta Reef will be handed over ahead of schedule.'

Sales performance exceeded forecasting targets during the past year and demand remains strong for units within the project.

The on-site Porta Reef client relationship centre provides information to investors on the project as well as displays the project model and sample dŽcor and finishing materials

Porta Reef, a $90 million project owned by Abu Dhabi Investment House, includes a trio of luxurious residential towers with two- and three-bedroom apartments, as well as six premium penthouse units.
