Schon launches ‘Libertas’ tower
Dubai, October 22, 2008
Schon Properties has launched its latest commercial project, the Dh650 million ($177 million) Libertas Tower, offering 21 floors of office and retail space in the Downtown Jebel Ali development on Sheikh Zayed Road.
As Dubai surges ahead with its visionary expansion and development program, Libertas will provide much-needed grade A office space in the emerging New Dubai area, said a top company official.
Sonia H. Schon, executive director of Schon Properties is bullish about the ongoing potential of the real estate sector and believes commercial space in particular holds the key to sustainable business growth.
"As the international spotlight increasing falls on Dubai as the current boom town of the world, more and more businesses are looking to relocate or open branches in this lucrative market."
"Ironically the fall out from the global financial situation is resulting in many professionals from Wall Street and other traditional financial hubs now seeking employment and therefore office space and residential accommodation here in Dubai, which in turn generates further demand in the property market," Sonia observed.
Boasting 21 floors of superb office space, complemented by a convenient retail component on the ground floor and ample platform and basement parking space, Libertas is designed with every business requirement in mind.
For maximum flexibility, each floor will be handed over in shell and core format, allowing tenants to decide on their own office layouts.
Located in the Trellis district of the Downtown Jebel Ali Development, the building is surrounded by greenery and linked pathways that connect a thriving hub of business and residential towers, creating an idyllic working and living environment.
With an ideal location, close to the Al Maktoum International Airport as well as residential communities and up and coming business districts, Libertas will be at the heart of the action, presenting a very attractive solution for start-up and expanding businesses or international firms opening branches in Dubai.
Driven by the dynamic growth of Dubai as a regional and international business hub, the demand for office space throughout the emirate remains high, evidenced by consistently healthy sales levels in the commercial space sector.
“We anticipate the building will sell out within the next few weeks judging by the intense interest witnessed at the time of launch,’” Sonia added.-TradeArabia News Service
