Aldar Properties, the Platinum sponsors of Cityscape Dubai 2008, said it has unveiled prestigious projects collectively valued at $72 billion at the expo which began on Monday, October 6.

Aldar is showcasing projects including Yas Island, Al Raha Beach and Central Market.

Aldar executives will be at hand to inform guests on the progress of the highly anticipated developments. Apart from these projects, the company will also allow visitors to catch a glimpse of its entire portfolio of developments.

Al Raha Beach, the Ultimate Waterfront City, is on track for timely completion in 2014.

With a total area of over six million square metres, and 11 kms of coastline, Al Raha Beach is fast evolving into one of the most stunning waterfront cities in the world, and the gateway to the new Abu Dhabi, combining cosmopolitan life with community and family oriented relaxation, and offering its 120,000 residents and about 250,000 day population 43 kms of dynamic waterfront living, the project is already making waves across the globe.

Yas Island, with its three themed parks, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the Warner Bros theme park, and the waterpark, will be completed on schedule and already has many firsts to its credit.

The Central market is a prestigious mixed-use re-development in the heart of downtown Abu Dhabi. This development will combine a traditional Arabian souk area with chic boutiques, international brands and convenience outlets along with three ultra-modern towers crowning the development.
