Oger Abu Dhabi has won the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract for building Sowwah Square, Mubadala’s commercial project on Sowwah Island.

The contract is for construction of over 570,000 square metres of office and retail facilities, the new headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange building and four high-rise office towers adding up to 285,000 square metres.

Sowwah Square, located in Abu Dhabi’s new Central Business District, is being developed by John Buck International, a joint venture between Mubadala and The John Buck Company.

The Sowwah Square is expected to be completed in 2010.
