Top firms for Landscaping Expo

Local, regional and international contractors in the landscaping business have confirmed their presence at the forthcoming Gulf Landscaping Exhibition (GLE) organised by UK’s CMPi.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on November 17 and 18, 2008.
“A series of local, regional and international players have signed up for our event to showcase a variety of products including drip and micro irrigation components, agricultural sprinklers, sprays, control valves, cables, flow meters, pump stations, control devices, tanks and system protection devices among others,” said CMPi Group director, Chris Fountain.
Fountain noted that the GCC is beginning to value the outdoors and an increasing number of landscaping companies are now attracted to the region.
“Driven by the construction boom, many households have increasingly turned to landscaping services to design, develop and maintain their investments while landscaping contractors are learning how to grab their share of this high growth market,” he said.
Prominent among the exhibitors that have confirmed their participation at the Abu Dhabi Gulf Landscaping show include US’s Fitco who will showcase, landscape and agricultural irrigation products along with industrial products at the show.
Lebanon’s Exotica will showcase its floristry and landscaping services in the region including flower and plant production nurseries, and landscape contracting division. Their operations extend as far as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Syria and Jordan.
Terraverde will display their design and implementation skills in landscaping, irrigation, water features, garden accessories, garden lighting and maintenance.
Kudos International will display their comprehensive range of outdoor furniture solutions. Established in 1990, Kudos supplies premium quality leisure furniture to international hotel chains, property developers and private customers in the region.
At the Gulf Landscaping Exhibition they will display items from the all weather wicker, teak and contemporary aluminum outdoor furniture ranges.
Another prominent exhibitor will be Citiscape who are a specialized contracting company in the fields of landscape, irrigation and hardscape works. They will display techniques to turn fantasy gardens into reality and introduce new varieties of plants and new trends in landscaping industry.
Saudi Arabia’s Zaid Alhussain Group will display their virtuosity in architectural garden designing and landscape construction and showcase their strengths in garden design mostly for palaces, villas, housing complexes, rest houses, exhibitions, supermarkets, hotels, resorts and hospitals.
India’s Ripples will demonstrate indoor fountains and a range of esthetically designed outdoor fountains suitable for hotels, parks, gardens, commercial centers. From custom built commercial fountains to waterfalls and musical fountains to landscape lighting and accessories for outdoor use the company will showcase its full range.
