Manama, May 25, 2008
Bahrain-based Nomas Enterprises has announced the appointment of the pan-Arab firm Projacs International as project managers for an $800 million mixed-use water-front complex in Manama.
The development, in Juffair, will occupy an area of more than 35,000 sq m and include three towers featuring 950 homes.
The signing ceremony took place at the Nomas Enterprises office in Sheraton Complex.
Nomas Enterprises chairman Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, managing director Rashid Al Rumaihi and business development consultant Khalid Janahi were present at the event, along with Projacs International vice-president Nasser Kannan and project manager Nihad Al Husseini.
Shaikh Rashid said Projacs International had been carefully selected as the company to take the development forward.
'This is Nomas Enterprise's first real estate project and there are high standards expected out of every individual, company or product that will be involved in the final output,' he said.
'It was crucial that our project managing company fit that profile and when it came down to finalising one, Projacs International was spot on target.'
Kannan added his company was proud to be involved in such a prestigious project.
'With our long experience in the construction market within the gulf and worldwide, Nomas Enterprises can be rest assured that its first development is going to be a new benchmark in destination design in Bahrain,' he said.-TradeArabia News Service
