Aldar Properties has signed an initial agreement with The Rezidor Hotel Group to develop a Radisson SAS Hotel in Abu Dhabi on the luxury leisure entertainment destination Yas Island. 

Aldar Properties is a leading Abu Dhabi-based property developer’s hotels and hospitality division.

The agreement between Aldar Hotels and Hospitality and The Rezidor Hotel Group includes a Radisson SAS Hotel with 370 rooms, a wide range of restaurants, and state-of-the-art-facilities, said a company official.

The hotel will have facilities and services to match the exceptional location close to all the numerous attraction including Ferrari World/the race track and bordering the links golf course.  

Paul Bell, managing director Aldar Hotels and Hospitality and Jean-Marc Busato, area vice president of The Rezidor Hotel Group signed the agreement on Wednesday.

Commenting on the agreement, Ronald S. Barrott, Aldar Properties CEO said that aligning with globally-recognised hospitality brands was part of Aldar’s strategy to bring high quality investment opportunities to the developments. 

This agreement signifies Aldar’s commitment to bring world-class players to our market, and to Abu Dhabi, he added.

Paul Bell said the Radisson SAS would make an excellent contribution to Aldar's growing portfolio of international brands.
