Manama, April 25, 2008
Bahrain will host twin exhibitions - Property Arabia and The Worldwide Property Show - at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from May 28 to 31.
The events are being organised by the Bahrain-based Arabian Exhibition Management and Dubai Shows Limited.
Arabian Exhibition Management project manager Dareen Al Saad said the shows would have around 55 exhibitors from 30 different countries.
'This unique combination of property shows will allow international exhibitors showcase thousands of the biggest and most innovative real estate developments happening throughout the world.'
She said on show will be a vast range of residential and commercial properties, as well as related services including apartments and penthouses, agents, architects, financial institutions, interiors, new city and town projects, resort and island properties and waterfront and luxury developments.
'This is the best and most exciting opportunity for anyone looking to see the latest in real estate development,' she said.
'By staging these two events together, visitors will enjoy an unrivalled choice of properties, locally and internationally, all conveniently located under one roof.'
'New legislation allowing foreign ownership is causing real estate to be increasingly perceived as an attractive investment opportunity.'
She said the last edition attracted 5,585 high-net worth individuals and corporate investors, a 26 per cent increase on previous editions of the show, which has quickly become the leading real estate event in the country.
'Numerous major developers are taking centrepiece stands at the event. These include Abraj Al Lulu, Abu Dhabi Investment House, Era Project, Gulf Holding Company, Landmark Properties, Landmark Bahrain, Orchid Developers, Sherwoods Real Estate and Tabarak Group, among many others.'
Dubai Shows Limited director Mike Bridge said the international cadre of exhibitors will offer the finest examples of property development and real estate opportunities in the world.
'This year we have an unprecedented number of international exhibitors who have come to Bahrain to showcase their high-end property from all around the world. On display will be developments from Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Portugal, Spain, the US and many more.'
He said the event represents an exciting prospect for people interested in the unique investment opportunity of buying property.
'We predict more than 6,500 high net worth individuals and corporate investors will take advantage of this exception opportunity.'
The shows are open to trade visitors and the general public from 10am to 2pm and 4pm to 9pm on May 28 and 29; from noon to 9pm on May 30 and from noon to 6pm on May 31.-TradeArabia News Service
